What we believe.
God the Father the creator of heaven and earth.
Genesis 1:1- In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
Jesus Christ God’s only son.
John 1:14- And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
That he was crucified.
John 19:18- There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them.
He was resurrected.
Matthew 28:6- He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.
Through his death we have life.
John 3:16- "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
The Holy Ghost/Spirit is a gift from the father.
John 15:26- "But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.
John 16:7- Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
His spiritual fruits that are active in the life of every believer.
Galatians 5:22-23
22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23. gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
His Spiritual Gifts that he assigns to each believer as he chooses.
1 Corinthians 12:4-11
4. Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit;
5. and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord;
6. and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.
7. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
8. To one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit,
9. to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,
10. to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
11. All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.
